Jeremy Issacharoff

Jeremy Issacharoff is the Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Israel in Washington DC. In 2003, he became a member of the UN Advisory Board for Disarmament Affairs, which consists of experts in the realm of arms control and disarmament from approximately twenty countries. He has also served as Deputy Director-General for Strategic Affairs and Head of Regional Security and Arms Control in the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 1993 - 1998 Mr. Issacharoff held the post of Minister-Counselor for Political Affairs in the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC.

His Excellency Prince Zeid Ra’ad Zeid Al-Hussein

Prince Zeid is Jordan’s Ambassador to the United States. Prior to his current post, he served as the kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2000-2007. Prince Zeid was a political affairs officer in the United Nations Protection Force (UNPROFOR) in the former Yugoslavia from February 1994 to February 1996, and has worked intimately with peacekeeping issues over the last decade. For the last three years, Prince Zeid also chaired the Consultative Committee for the United Nations Development Fund for Women.

Ziad Asali

Dr. Ziad J. Asali is the president and founder of the American Task Force on Palestine, a non-profit, non-partisan organization based in Washington, DC. He is a member of the Chairman's Council of American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) and served as ADC’s president from 2001-2003. He was chairman of the American Committee on Jerusalem, which he co-founded, from 1995-2003. He has provided commentary and interviews to both English and Arabic media and is a regular speaker at international conferences, Arab-American conventions and to academic groups.

David Makovsky

David Makovsky is a senior fellow and director of The Washington Institute's Project on the Middle East Peace Process. He is also an adjunct lecturer in Middle Eastern studies at Johns Hopkins University's Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and a member of the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies. Before joining The Washington Institute, Mr. Makovsky was an award-winning journalist who covered the peace process from 1989 to 2000 and is now a contributing editor to U.S. News and World Report.
